ISDE 2010 Digital Earth Summit will be held in Nessebar, Bulgaria in June 2010. The theme of 2010 Digital Earth Summit is “Digital Earth in the Service of Society: Sharing Information, Building Knowledge”. This summit is organized by the International Society for Digital Earth (ISDE) and University of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy, (UACEG) Sofia.

In addition to the series’ ISDE International Symposia on Digital Earth, the series ISDE Summits were successfully convened in New Zealand and Germany in 2006 and 2008, respectively. This Summit’s topics cover societal context of Digital Earth, Digital Earth in sustainable development at local and regional levels, Digital cities, the citizen as contributor to Digital Earth, and so on. A special exhibition of maps, cartographic products, GIS, hardware and software will be held in the framework of the Summit.
The official language of the Summit is English.

January 10, 2010 - Deadline of Abstract submission
January 30, 2010 - Notification of Acceptance
February 28, 2010 - Payment of early registration fee
May 1, 2010 - Paper submission and regular registrations
