Available data is denoted by active links in the calendar displayed on the Event 2008 Sichuan Earthquake Data Request page(http://www.ceode.ac.cn). All references to time refer to The Center for Earth Observation and Digital Earth (CEODE). This data comes from a variety of sources: TM、SPOT2.4、IRS-P6 and Radarsat-1.

Records of the earthquakes in Sichuan Province on May 12, 2008 are significant sources of data for researchers of earthquake activity. Such records allow researchers to evaluate seismic hazards and make more accurate predictions concerning the likely location-and magnitude-of future earthquakes.

It is notable that compliance with an official application procedure is expected when experts and officials access to earthquake data.

By the time 22p.m. of May 17, CEODE sites experienced a significant increase during these two weeks to 36000 visitors, roughly the 60-100 visitors per minute.
