The Center for Earth Observation and Digital Earth (CEODE) worked together with ANTRIX Corporation Limited of India, to upgrade the existing RESOURCESAT-1 satellite ground system. The upgraded system could process RESOURCESAT-1 satellite data received by Kashi Ground Receiving Station and provide users with standard data products.

RESOURCESAT-1 is one of the important Earth Observation Satellites received and distributed by CEODE. The optical images of different space resolution 5.8, 23.5, 56 m, have a wide range of applications in agriculture, forestry, environment, soil, geological prospecting, infrastructure, graphics, etc.

After upgrading, CEODE has formed a nationwide receiving ability of RESOURCESAT - 1 satellite data, which will provide strong technical support to the further application of the satellite data.
