On 31 March, 2009, CEODE signed a contract with three bidding winners for developing a national system of satellite data assessment, a component of the National Ground Data Receiving Station Network for Earth Observation Satellites. The signing ceremony marked the start of the project. The three contract winners are the CAS Institute of Electronics, Wuhan University and Zondy Cyber Group.
