On April 12, 2010, Prof.Guo Huadong, Director-general of the Center for Earth Observation and Digital Earth (CEODE), met with Czech ambassador Libor Secka in Beijing.
With the focus of digital earth, they exchanged views on the long-term partnership between CEODE and the relevant institutions in Czech. The two sides both believed that an intensive cooperation served the common interests of the S&T institutions in both countries and contributed to the development of digital earth sciences.
Moreover, they expressed the hope of expanding S&T cooperation and continuing to move relations forward. Ground on the signing of cooperation agreements put on the agenda, it was no doubt that the meeting between Prof.Guo and Mr.Secka would promote the bilateral cooperation.
