The Council members visited the Operation Hall of the Remote Sensing Satellite Receiving Network and watched videos on the Digital Earth Science Platform. They also visited the three international organizations hosted by CEODE: the International Centre on Space Technologies for Natural and Cultural Heritage under the Auspices of UNESCO (HIST), the International Society for Digital Earth (ISDE), and the International Programme Office for Integrated Research on Disaster Risk (IRDR IPO).

After touring CEODE, both sides met to discuss upcoming events and opportunities for cooperation. Firstly, CEODE Director-General GUO Huadong warmly welcomed ISPRS and CEODE Deputy Director ZHANG Bing gave a brief introduction to CEODE, the operation of major national scientific and technological infrastructures, researchprogress andresults, as wellaspreparationsfor the 35th International Symposium on Remote Sensing of Environment in 2013, hosted by CEODE.
