The Center is to construct a platform capable of carrying out comprehensive processing, distribution and archiving of airborne and spaceborne data and to offer user-oriented services.

Major tasks: Overall integration and management of the remote-sensing data from space and airplane flights, high-speed processing of mass space data, and related ground system development; development and production of value-added products for clients, market exploration and customer service; Internet network of CEODE; on-line data retrieval for airborne remote-sensing metadata and micro image; and the construction of a platform for data release.

There are four units under the Center’s jurisdiction:
